Festive Thank you’s!

Celebrating Our Amazing Youth Volunteers and Intern

Yesterday, Sam, Jade, and Ryan hosted a fun and relaxed day to thank our youth volunteers and interns for their hard work and achievements throughout the year. It was a chance to unwind, have fun, and celebrate everything we’ve accomplished together.

The day started with some of our young people joining us in the morning, while others came in the afternoon. However, we did start out with a slight hiccup when Ryan forgot the Nintendo Switch dock, but thankfully our amazing friends at Stirling Champs came to the rescue! We spent time playing video games like Mario Kart, Mario Party, and Boomerang FU- everyone expected Sam to be rubbish, but she sure showed them by winning two games!

Let’s be honest, no celebration is complete without lots of snacks! We enjoyed a spread of festive treats, with ginger bread men to decorate and even a DIY bubble tea kit (which some were over the moon about!).

Throughout the year, our young people have been involved in some truly impressive projects. Some have become volunteer radio presenters with Stirling Community Radio after completing our Community and Media Matters course, while others have contributed to creative and community initiatives, including an exciting board game project we’ll share more about soon. Watching them grow in confidence and develop their skills has been inspiring.

We’re so proud of all the youth we work with. Their dedication and enthusiasm make what we do worthwhile, and we’re excited to keep building on this momentum in 2025.

As the year comes to a close, we want to thank all of our young people, partner organisations, community members, funders, and friends for their support. We hope you have a wonderful festive season and an exciting start to the new year. Let’s keep working together to make a positive impact in the year ahead!

See you in 2025!
