“Since joining the team, I have been involved in doing Camera Training over at Stirling University with Sam and Ryan, hosted by a really knowledgeable man called Kevin. It was so much fun, and I feel like we learned a lot. This training should help us expand our media offerings by being able to add video to the ever-expanding repertoire of skills to share with young people.
This week I was involved in welcoming Students from Wallace High School, to attend our Community and Media Matters (CAMM) Course CAMM — Creative Stirling here at Creative Stirling.
This is where participants learn all about Radio and Podcasting and why Media Matters.
I am a graduate of the CAMM Course myself, so I felt ideally placed to guide the new batch of young people, answering questions, sharing my story, using my experience and skills to share the joy I found in content creation and spending time at Creative Stirling.
Yesterday, on Wednesday 30th of October, we had Katie Cooper, an award winning make-up artist, wig maker and painter, who did work on well known TV show Outlander, to Creative Stirling. Running a session on “eye brow blocking” and how to create character looks, Katie discussed her role within the industry and how to create make-up and design looks. It was really interesting!
I am working on expanding my skills and improving my journalism by collecting stories and news content from the Made in Stirling Workshops & what's on — Made in Stirling and Creative Stirling websites - Events.
To share these and other news on Creative Stirling’s new radio show hosted by me, Called ‘Cramb in Creative’ which you can find on Stirling community Radio Every Thursday at 3pm on the app or on the website - Homepage — Stirling Community Radio.”
