February 25th 6-8pm | Creative Stirling Venue, 44 King Street, FK8 1AY
What is CYA?
Creative Youth Assembly is a monthly group for ages 13-25.
Currently runs once a month, the group brings together young people to take part in creative activities, learn more about potential career pathways, learn new skills, develop friendships, and have fun.
We regularly bring in professions working in creative, and sometimes not creative, careers to talk about their pathways, the realities of the work they do, and give advice to our group members.
What’s on this month?
Our first CYA guest of 2025 is the incredible Gregg McNeill! A local photographer with over 25 years of experience, Gregg specialises in Victorian camera and dark room processes.
“Gregg McNeill is a Photographer specialising in older analogue processes such as Wetplate Collodion Tintype and Ambrotype, Salt Printing, Cyanotype and wet darkroom processes. He’s going to show some examples of cameras, lenses and images made with these older processes and talk about how these processes have influenced his work.” Find out more about Gregg’s work here.
