Sonnet Youth are coming to Stirling!

Starting from November, Sonnet Youth will be bringing their fantastic nights of live performances to the hub for regular events!

If you’re unfamiliar with Sonnet Youth, here’s a bit more information on what you can expect:

Sonnet Youth nights run in Glasgow, Edinburgh, and now Stirling. We are a literary rave. A poetic piss up – bringing together poets, comedians, musicians, rappers and cabaret acts for a night of no holds barred performances. Curated and hosted by Kevin P. Gilday and Cat Hepburn, Sonnet Youth reinvents live literature for a new generation.

We’re launching our fourth season of shows in style – with this absolute beauty of a line-up:

– Our headliner is award winning rapper, Solareye. Solo project of Stanley Odd frontman Dave Hook.

– Fresh off a successful tour of her new show, Essex Girl, poet and theatre maker Maria Ferguson – Writer joins us on the bill.

– After a breakthrough year at the fringe, we’re proud to have Marjolein Robertson as our comedy guest.

– The sumptuous Peter Cat will be serenading us with a special solo set.

– Transgressive Irish graphic artist Stephen Morton reads, and exhibits, his work.

– We’ll be showcasing a great new talent in the form of Lauran Kelly.
