October 27th will finally see the return of our hugely popular Pecha Kucha nights in collaboration with CodeBase Stirling – our first one back since January 2020!
If you’re not familiar with the Pecha Kucha format, speakers have 20 slides that last for 20 seconds each making presentations clear, concise, and often amusingly snappy. Each event has around 8 speakers with a central theme that their talks are centred on. Some of our themes in the past have been ‘Love’, ‘Identity’, and ‘The Future’. This October, we think a timely theme for our speakers is ‘Turning Points’…
The world is currently facing several turning points in its history e.g. climate change, the pandemic, etc. We will be exploring other key turning points from history, politics, business stories and personal lives. Speakers will reveal the key turning points that changed the course of a particular narrative, from global perspectives to deeply personal stories.
We hope you can join us on the night. Tickets are £5 with all proceeds going towards Stirling Soup and the work they have been doing in our community. You’ll also get beer and some snacks included as part of your ticket.
If you can’t make it in person, we’re also offering the option for you to join us virtually. The whole night will be livestreamed from CodeBase Stirling – all you have to do is select a virtual ticket and we’ll send you out a link to the livestream on the day.
Tickets go live shortly – watch this space for further updates on how to book.
