Macrobert Arts Centre are holding auditions on Sun 14 of May 2017 for young people to join the Young Cast for this year’s Christmas 2017 panto extravaganza, Chick Whittington.
It's a fantastic opportunity to work with a highly skilled creative team who will prepare you for going on stage with a professional company. Rehearsals and performances require a high level of commitment, but you will be amazed at what you will gain from the experience.

A new play about being alone and making friends; starting fights and and falling in love; being invisible and talking to cats is coming to Macrobert Arts Centre.
We had a very successful weekend at the Engine Shed for Doors Open Day! As part of the event, we were exhibiting photographs taken by the participants on our Boom Town photography workshops. These workshops were done in collaboration with Historic Environment Scotland and Picture the Possible. The images taken were mainly of Victorian buildings around Stirling which most people tend not to give much notice to. The aim of the workshops was to engage the community with the town that they live in, and to give them the opportunity to become interested in Victorian architecture.

Macrobert Arts Centre run a range of creative classes in drama, dance, film and art, offering children and young people (aged 6-18) the chance to create, explore and get involved. The Autumn term for classes start Tue 23 Aug and there’s still time to sign up for many of the workshops.
