Disabled Access Day is all about trying something or somewhere new, whether that’s a local coffee shop, cinema, sports centre or anywhere else! This year the event will take place on 12th March and we’d love you to get involved and visit Macrobert Arts Centre with your friends and/or family!

February School Holidays: Photography Workshops

Join Macrpbert Arts Centre for some fun & creative classes during the mid-term school break.

Spend a day using a variety of photographic means; from polaroids to sun printing and lomography to digital cameras to explore your family tree. Artist Jassy Earl will work with you to decide how and what tells the best story, and most lasting memory. At the end of the day you’ll have a unique new story book.

February School Holidays: Digital Photography Workshops

Ideal for anyone interested in digital photography and image manipulation using computer software- explore light painting, image blending and still frame animations with artist Kenny Bean.

Workshop cost: £20

Workshops will include a chaperoned lunch break, please bring a packed lunch or alternatively there are facilities for food in & around our venue. 

Main Street Blues

This show, by one of Scotland’s premier blues bands, combines acoustic blues with a powerful mix of electric blues and funk material.

A favourite around blues festivals and known for putting on a very energetic live show, the band has sold out its performances at the prestigious Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival in each of the last four years.
