Murray Place

Made in Stirling Artist Call

Made in Stirling offers local designers, makers and artists the opportunity to retail the work they produce on the high street. We are currently seeking submissions from new artists.

Hailed as one of Stirling's success stories, this unique project originally began in July 2012 through Stirling Council’s Start Up Street Initiative to regenerate the high street and harness and develop local talent. Creative Stirling have been managing the project since October of the same year, and won the bid to independently manage and develop it in March 2013.

Made in Stirling Reopening

We are pleased to announce that Made in Stirling will be opening its doors on the high street again.

Made in Stirling offers local designers, makers, artists and artisans the opportunity to sell their product on the high street. The shop sells a wide and varied range of artwork made solely by people who are either from / living in Stirling and the surrounding area. Originally set up as part of an initiative to utilise vacant properties in the City Centre, the shop has now been running since July 2012 and has been hosted in three spaces so far.

Made In Stirling: Murray Place Launch

A successful culmination of ideas led by Icecream Architecture, in conjunction with Stirling Community Forum (SCIF), and Start-Up Street Stirling, is set to officially launch at the end of this month.

The last few weeks have seen the transformation of the empty retail unit on Murray place into a busy & interesting space with artists & makers from the Stirling area selling their work, and information & ticketing for local cultural venues.

A launch, with drinks and refreshments, is set to take place at 17:00 on Tuesday, 31st July.
