An evocative sonic journey to outer space...

Kai Fischer, in association with National Theatre of Scotland...

A traveller stands on a beach in Morocco with a group of friends. Tonight, they are getting ready for a journey to change their lives. Decades earlier, a young man is getting strapped into a tiny sphere, ready for his mission: to become the first Human in Outer Space.

Donald Robertson Is Not A Stand Up Comedian!

A coming of age story which looks at comedy in an entirely different light.

What would you do if everyone in the world hated you? Would you run? Would you fight? Or would you try to make them laugh?

Donald Robertson has got no mates and he isn't funny. But with guidance from his new mentor Gary, he hopes that this is all about to change.

Writer/performer Gary McNair’s acclaimed monologue weaves a classic coming-of-age story with a pinpoint deconstruction of the darker side of stand-up comedy.

A new staging of a Tolkien mini masterpiece!

Leaf By Niggle

Saturday 23 April, 7.30pm

Surrounded by ladders, bicycles, easels and heirlooms, Richard Medrington tells JRR Tolkien’s poignant story about an artist on a curious journey - with original soundtrack composed by Karine Polwart and Michael John McCarthy. In 1939 Tolkien was despairing of ever bringing his great work The Lord of the Rings to a conclusion, but woke up one morning with this story complete in his mind and wrote it down.

Macrobert Young Company presents... Bassett

Thursday 21 April, 7.30pm

Bassett is a new theatre piece performed by Macrobert's very own Young Company - actors aged from 13-18.

An exhilarating and startling snapshot of a generation who have inherited a world at war. At Wootton Bassett School the supply teacher has done a runner and locked the pupils in their classroom. Dean needs the toilet, Aimee needs a coffee, Amid needs to pray and Leo… well, Leo really, really wants to escape.
