Made in Stirling offers local designers, makers and artists the opportunity to retail the work they produce on the high street. We are currently seeking submissions from new artists.

Hailed as one of Stirling's success stories, this unique project originally began in July 2012 through Stirling Council’s Start Up Street Initiative to regenerate the high street and harness and develop local talent. Creative Stirling have been managing the project since October of the same year, and won the bid to independently manage and develop it in March 2013.

Over the last two years more than 180 local artists, makers and designers  have retailed their work through Made in a Stirling, offering members of the public the opportunity to purchase unique pieces of affordable art.

The pop-up shop is now in its fourth location (with all previous premises now leased with permanent tenants) and continues to fulfil the project's original goal of breathing life back into Stirling's shopping precinct and providing a boost to the local economy.

Made in Stirling is a unique model, each space in the shop is rented by the artist and designed by them. We offer feedback on sales, how to develop products and the opportunity to spend time in the shop getting to know your customers. Artists also have full autonomy over their prices, management cannot change this. It is a nurturing retail opportunity.

To be considered to retail in Made in Stirling you must either be from Stirling or currently living here. This includes the rural areas that are part of Stirlingshire.

Please send the following information to lynn@creativestirling.org to find out about rates and have your work considered.
