Mood, Light and Colour - exhibition of paintings - 25 November to 29 January - entry free

An exhibtion of paintings by Stirlingshire landscape artist, Pamela McMahon, is to be staged in the Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum from 25 November to 29 January 2017.  Just under 30 paintings will be on display, many of which feature the Lake of Menteith which is close to Pamela's home and studio.

Painting in a modern, impressionistic style Pamela seeks out scenes where the changing light adds a magical mood and depth of colour -  in other words, scenes that never last for long, but that demand you stand and stare.   Pamela aims to share the beauty of the scenes she witnesses with others through her work.

You can see more of Pamela's work on her website www.pamelamcmahon.artweb.com or on her facebook page www.facebook.com/pamelamcmahonart
