Experience Horse McDonald’s autobiographical play - an inspirational story of her triumph over adversity through music.
Now on tour, and fresh from the Edinburgh Fringe, Scottish singer-songwriter Horse McDonald’s autobiographical play, Careful, is an inspirational story of her triumph over adversity through music. As she found out early on, there are times in life when you need to be careful...
With the music moving and uplifting, her play is open and honest about the hard facts of growing up gay in Lanark. Along with bullying, prejudice, and struggles with sexual identity, the stories told were some of her life’s toughest times. In the show the audience travels with Horse as she takes them on a journey from kelpie in the Brownies to her rise to stardom and one of Scotland's most celebrated singers.
*As well as enjoying a selection of her hit songs, as part of the show, join Horse for a live audience Q&A with director Maggie Kinloch.
