Children’s Media Network Scotland announces details of their next event, intended for anyone involved with, or an interest in, children’s media in Scotland.
Producer Simon Parsons will be discussing the making of the recent CBeebies live action series, ‘Gudrun The Viking Princess’, revealing the ups and downs of working with children, animals AND vikings. Simon was Head of Children’s Production at BBC Scotland for over six years before going onto create and produce 'Teacup Travels' for Plum Films. He now resides as Executive Producer at Maramedia - the makers of ‘Gudrun' - as well as running ‘FIRE BY THE RIVER’, a leadership coaching service.
Character designer and illustrator, Kenneth Anderson, will be talking us through the early development of the character design in the new CBeebies animated series, ‘Bitz & Bob’. Kenneth has provided character designs for a wide range of clients including Brown Bag, Nick Jr., Axis Animation and Disney Interactive.
