Last Saturday (17th of December) at the Municipal Buildings, in collaboration with the Baltic Film Society, we hosted a film screening of 'The Golden Horse' and held an animation workshop for 6-16 year olds after the screening.

Jim Stirk from Animation Jam held the two-hour workshop after the screening. The majority of the first hour was an introduction to animation, and then the young people got the chance to come up with their own characters/props to place into their own short films. The second hour was spent bringing their ideas to life using the animation program and the props that they had created earlier on.

The short films that were created by participants are now available to view here.
