We are looking for fresh creative ideas and enterprising candidates to facilitate the Spring 2018 workshop programme at the Engine Shed. We are creating the conditions for those with a range of arts, science, design, digital and other specialist interest skill sets to work collaboratively with us and we will commission the most exciting workshop ideas to be included in the HES Engine Shed Outreach and Learning Programme.

We positively welcome blue sky ideas from our indigenous creative talent base in Stirling. We are looking to create a program of regular Saturday workshops for the public that mash up science, design, technology and art with history, taking inspiration from themes around architecture and heritage, environment and traditional crafts. We want to deliver workshops that set people thinking about the power and opportunity of Place and using creative approaches, what that means for future generations to enjoy.

The Engine Shed seek to commission a range of standalone, accessible half day creative workshops for the public taking place on Saturday afternoons 12.30 until 3pm from January 2018.

We would positively welcome ideas for workshops for a specific interest/community groups that you may already work with or are part of.

The Spring 2018 programme will include holiday time workshops with creatives exploring themes around our built heritage, during Stirling mid-term break Feb 12 – 16th and Easter Holidays March 30 – April 13th 2018. During the non term time periods we can work with artists who may want to facilitate workshops that require longer time commitments working with groups who would book in advance for activities.

How to get involved:
